The universal search box is used in both the worker portal and the dashboard portal template and provides users the ability to use one search box across multiple items.
As Seen By Your Customers
In the dashboard portal it gives users the ability to search across the following areas:
- Products
- By default this searches across product SKU, name, description, and search terms fields.
- Orders
- Backorders
- Shipments
- Invoices
- Addresses
- Payments
- Price list
- Favorites lists
As Seen By Your Workers
In the worker portal it allows a user to search across the following areas:
- Accounts
- Contacts
- Addresses
- Sales Order History
- Shipments
- Invoices
- Invoice details
- Credits
- Payments
- Products (Catalog) – This pulls up the product catalog in the worker portal to view search results and product detail pages. This is for review purposes only and Add to Cart is disabled.
- Products (Manage) – This takes you to product manage page in the worker portal where you can manage products
- Online Orders
