Overview
This feature is part of the Advanced Order Entry Tools bundle. This feature allows users to set an Expected Ship Date for shipments during order checkout. The dates available to pick are based on the effective order date from the Business Day Calendar (Order Date Settings) along with a single lead time that applies for all items. The first day available for users to pick is the effective order date plus the fixed lead time. For this feature to work properly you need to enable the the feature Effective Order Date is Calculated Using Eligible Biz Days and Cutoffs needs to be enabled as well.
If you want this date passed to a specific field in the ERP contact CIMcloud to set up the order import into the ERP to set the desired date.
What a CRM worker Sees
A CRM worker will not see anything different in the worker portal
What an Admin Worker Sees
With the feature Effective Order Date is Calculated Using Eligible Biz Days and Cutoffs enabled the admin worker will see the a field for lead time at the bottom of the Order Date Settings calendar. This in addition to the other settings determine the available days for users to pick during ordering.

The lead time field days at the bottom controls the lead time for this feature. If the effective order date is today and the lead time days here is set to 2 then the first date a user can select is 2 business days in the future.
What a Customer Site User Sees
At checkout next to the shipping methods will be a date picker that allows users to select a requested ship date
In the screenshot above the effective order date was 10/29/2025 with a 2 day lead time set, so the first available date to pick is 10/31/2025. Saturday and Sunday are not available to pick since these are not set as available days in the Order Date Settings.
