Overview
This feature is part of the Advanced Order Entry Tools bundle. This works with features Effective Order Date Calculated Using Eligible Business Days and Cutoffs and Expected Ship Date from Fixed Lead Time to set an expected ship date based on lead times set on products. The lead time for each product displays on the product in the cart during checkout. If no lead time is set on the product it defaults to the lead time on the order date setting as described in Expected Ship Date from Fixed Lead Time. The lead time can be set on products using different profiles set up and applied to products or an override lead time value set on the product. The longest lead time, the effective order date (Effective Order Date Calculated Using Eligible Business Days and Cutoffs), and the Order Date Settings are used to set the expected ship date displayed to customers.
If the ship date is desired to set a field in the ERP notify CIMcloud to update the order import into the ERP to set the desired value.
What a CRM Worker Sees
A CRM worker will not see anything different in the worker portal
What an Admin Worker Sees
The feature for this functionality, Expected Ship Date from Profiles and Product Overrides, is in the Quotes/Ordering section of features in the Advanced Order Entry Tools section. The features for Effective Order Date is Calculated Using Eligible Biz Days and Cutoffs and Expected Ship Date from Fixed Lead-time should also be enabled for this to function properly.

An admin worker with access to set up the business day calendar and lead time will have access as noted here – Effective Order Date Calculated Using Eligible Business Days and Cutoffs and Expected Ship Date from Fixed Lead Time
Additionally admin workers with access to products will see a new screen to set up lead time profiles. The menu option, Lead Times, is at Product Workspace > Product Catalog > Lead Times

From here you can add or edit a profile

The fields available are:
- Status – Sets status as enabled or disabled. Disabled records will not apply
- Reference ID – Unique identifier
- Name – User friendly identifier
- Description – Description field for internal use
- Lead Time (in Days) – This is the number of days associated with this lead time. This is the value added to the effective order date to determine the expected ship date
- Optional Information – Currently has no functionality and can be used for informational purposes only
On the product record in the worker portal one of these profiles can be applied and if desired an override value can be set. If no override value is set the value from the profile is used. If no profile is set the default from the order date settings calendar is used.

What a Customer Site User Sees
For the following examples the default lead time on the order date calendar is 2 days and the Lead-time Profile set up is 8 days.
The first product in the cart uses the Lead-time Profile
The second item does not have a Lead-time Profile or Override Lead-time Days
The third item has an Override Lead-time Days of 4 days
A customer creating an order will see the lead time in the cart for each product

At the final checkout page the user will see calculated expected ship date based on the effective order date plus the longest item lead time. For reference the effective order date is 10/29/2025 (Wednesday) and weekends are not included in the ship days. 8 Days is the longest lead time so the Expected Ship Date is a week from the following Monday 11/10/2025 (8 ship days): (Thu[10/30], Fri[10/31], Mon[11/3], Tues[11/4], Wed[11/5], Thu[11/6], Fri[11/7], Mon[11/10]).
