Overview
These features are used to enable address validation by UPS or FedEx during checkout. Only enable one of these options. The credentials for the given option need to be set up in the Shipping Section of the Application settings ( Managing Shipping Methods & Shipping Costs ) and Address Verification needs to be enabled with this carrier’s account. This is a separate check from shipment cost and the selected shipping method does not need to use the selected carrier used for validation. Users will have the option to select the recommended update or keep the address the way they entered it. If the recommended update is chosen the address will be updated to that value. Once an address is validated it does not require validation again. If the address change is accepted or declined is recorded on the address along with the verification date. This feature is part of the Advanced Order Entry Tools bundle.
What a CRM Worker Sees

(Managing Shipping Methods & Shipping Costs). The feature is in the Customer Data section of features and the Advanced Order Entry Tools Bundle section.
