When you are leveraging a CIMcloud public-facing product catalog, one of the decisions you have to make is whether or not you would like to publicly display pricing or not. For companies wanting to sell B2C on the website, this is a no-brainer; you can’t sell products to consumers if they don’t know the price.
But for B2B organizations, this functionality is essential and part of your overall online selling strategy.
- Do I want competitors to know my pricing?
- Do I want customers with negotiated rates to see what retail customers are paying?
- Do I want my suppliers to know how much I’m selling items for?
All of these questions are unique to your business, and this feature is designed to give you complete flexibility regardless of what the answer may be.
The following options are available in the General section of Application Settings and can be overridden at the Customer Site level.

- Show Price and Add to Cart
- Show Price, Require Login to Add to Cart
- Require Add to Cart to See Price
- Require Login or Add to Cart to See Price
- Require Login to See Price and Add to Cart
