CIMcloud Holiday Notices & Office Hours

Although CIMcloud websites never take a rest and we do monitor all sites 24/7/365, our offices are closed per our published holiday schedule.  Particularly for sites that typically experience higher traffic over the holidays, we recommend the following best practices.  As always, for severity level 1 issues we offer After Hours support.

Holiday Office Closures

The CIMcloud office will be officially closed on these dates.  Other than After Hours Support, our employees will not be working.

  • New Year’s Day – Monday – 1/1/2024
  • Memorial Day – Monday – 5/27/2024
  • Independence Day – Thursday – 7/4/2024
  • Labor Day – Monday – 9/2/2024
  • Thanksgiving – Thursday & Friday – 11/28/2024 & 11/29/2024
  • Christmas – Wednesday & Thursday – 12/24/2024 & 12/25/2024
  • New Year’s Day – Wednesday – 1/1/2025

Holiday Preparation

Change Freezes / Risk Mitigation

CIMcloud will implement internal change freezes, specifically for holidays where our office is closed for multiple days (Thanksgiving and Christmas).  During a “freeze” we limit non-critical changes to both our internal infrastructure and our customer’s applications leading up to the holiday.

As a best practice, we recommend that you refrain from making any changes to your website within 1-2 weeks of a holiday where both our office and your office will be closed or have limited staff available.

Notify CIMcloud Of Expected Increases In Website Traffic (Black Friday/Cyber Monday Specials)

Please be sure to let us know by submitting a support task if you expect an increase in traffic on your website.  For example, if you are running sales or specials for Black Friday / Cyber Monday and expect a significant spike in traffic, please let us know so we can ensure your website has the infrastructure resources required.

Holiday After Hours Support

While we will continue to monitor your website over the holiday, please note that our office will be closed and any standard requests will be reviewed the next business day.  If you are experiencing a critical, severity level 1 issue on your website, an after-hours support resource can be contacted at (800) 266-3579.  We respectfully ask that calls are limited to severity level 1 issues as our employees look to spend this time with family and friends.
